Workforce Development

IEC Fort Worth/Tarrant County is committed to providing employees for our contractor members and quality jobs and education to individuals interested in the electrical industry.

State Career & Technology Centers and Independent School Districts

Starting with the Youth

IEC’s commitment to providing outstanding education and training services to the electrical is the foundation upon which all IEC programs are based. IEC Fort Worth/Tarrant County understands the importance of reaching out to the Career and Technology centers and school districts in order to expose those students, who do not want to go or can’t attend college, on the option of apprenticeship.

State Career and Technology Education Outreach

As part of our continued community workforce development programs, IEC Fort Worth/Tarrant County staff along with volunteers from the membership visit the local career and technology centers and school districts. When able, we also bring the classes to our facilities for hands on experience in the motor control. This is a great way to deepen the students’ interest in the electrical field.

To join IEC Fort Worth/Tarrant County in visiting the local career & technology centers and school districts contact us at (817) 496-8422.
