February 29th, IEC National President, Joseph Hovanec, announced Thayer Long, the Executive Vice President/CEO of IEC National, will be stepping down from his position effective April 22 – he has accepted another opportunity outside of IEC and the industry. Read More

Annual Meeting

Join us March 24th from 6:30 – 9:30 pm for the chapter’s Annual Meeting. Held at the always popular, Joe T. Garcia’s La Puertita, the keynote speaker will be Suzann Green, Oncor Fort Worth Area Manager. Mrs. Greene will share information to improve communications, strengthen relationships, work through issues, procedures implemented for establishing new services for customer and any protocol enhancements.Read More

10th Annual Tom Jones Memorial Golf Tournament April 12th

Texas Star Golf Course will again host the 10th Annual Tom Jones Memorial Golf Tournament. The event will be held April 12th with both morning and afternoon tee times. Part of the proceeds of the event are donated in honor of Tom Jones to the IEC Foundations, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Breast Cancer Foundation. Read More

Fall Apprenticeship Program Opens
March 1st

Applications will be accepted March 1st through July 28th for the 2016-2017 school -year. Applications will be taken Tuesday through Thursday at the IEC office from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Minimum requirements to apply for the program are: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Applicants must have a high school diploma or must have successfully passed the GED Equivalent and have a GED Certificate.Read More
