NOTICE FROM TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND REGULATION:
Update 2021: To apply for a Journeyman Electrician license, you must have completed at least 7,000 hours of on-the-job training under the supervision of a Master Electrician licensed in Texas. Submitting at least 7,000 hours of on-the-job training will simply allow you to take the examination before reaching the full 8,000 hours required for licensure.

The Journeyman Prep Class is a comprehensive study of how to pass the Journeyman exam by teaching the student how to navigate the codebook, highlight and underline critical tables and information, and use ohms law and basic mathematical equations to solve complex electrical calculations. 
​The Master’s Prep Class is a comprehensive study of how to pass the Master Exam by teaching the student to evaluate complex code questions critically, choose appropriate keywords,  and use the correct code and mathematical equations to solve complex electrical calculations.
