Our chapter is the recipient equipment from the IEC Foundation of valued at $26,102. This equipment was made possible by a gift from Eaton which will be used to upgrade our motor control labs.

Dear IEC Members, The long awaited parking lot project has begun. Plans are in place, permits have been received and Waddell Excavating should begin the project in a few weeks.

This is Thomas Estrada. I graduated 2013/2014 and I wanted to say thank you all very much. The opportunity to attend and the school and learn what we did was a great opportunity and I feel very grateful for it.

Fort Worth, TX (July 10, 2015) In May, the Independent Electrical Contractors Fort Worth/Tarrant County and Dallas Chapters held the IEC 8th Annual Tom Jones Memorial Golf Tournament in memory of Fort Worth/Tarrant County's long time Executive Director, Tom Jones who passed away in June, 2006.

IEC Fort Worth/Tarrant County Chapter celebrated the accomplishments of 22 electrical apprenticeship graduates, top apprentices and other honorees. This year’s graduation ceremony was hosted at the Bob Duncan Community Center in Arlington, TX

Apprenticeship school starts the week of September first. It looks like we definitely will have the largest enrollment ever!

Congratulations to Alex Nantz, second vice president of our chapter, who is one of the winners named in the first - ever IEC National “40 Under 40”!

IEC Dallas and Fort Worth/Tarrant County Chapters will hold their annual tradeshow on September 10th at the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
