Every year, fires costs business owners billions of dollars – and that number doesn’t even begin to measure the impact fires have on businesses and families of employees who are injured or killed by the blaze.

According to Bill Current (www.statedrugtestinglaws.com) the greatest threat posed by the trend to legalize marijuana throughout the United States is marijuana itself. Just because a state legalizes the drug for medical or recreational use, it doesn’t change the fact that people under the influence of marijuana are less productive, less safe and more likely to cause a workplace accident or a fatal car crash.

Classroom instruction dedicated to helping you prepare to take the Texas Electrician Licensing Exam for Journeyman or Master Electrician over the 2014 National Electric Code.

The IEC Fort Worth/Tarrant County Chapter, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, will host an Apprenticeship Open House on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 as part of the Department of Labor’s Annual National Apprenticeship Week. It will be held at the Fort Worth Chapter office from 3:00 – 4:30 pm.

IEC welcomes Spenser Villwock, MNM, CAE, as executive Vice President/CEO. Villwock exhibited outstanding leadership and knowledge of IEC during his six-month tenure as IEC’s Interim CEO. He Brings over two decades of business leadership to IEC, including six years of game-changing leadership and greatly realized success in the IEC network.

Congratulations to JMEG who has been selected as a finalist for the IEC/CNA Safety Award in Category 5. Finalists are invited to make a presentation at the 2016 IEC National Convention & EXPO.

Randy Humphrey and Steve Humphrey, Jr. might not be winners of the Humphrey & Associates Broken Clay tournament held September 30th; because they have to wear these “artistic” hair styles for 10 days. However, the kids at Young Life are certainly winners! The 2016 event was held September 30th with more than 500 shooters and approximately $100,000 will be donated to the Young Life Ministry.
